In the Footsteps of Genghis Khan – Your Mongolia Motorcycle Adventure
Experience Mongolia as few travellers ever do: on a motorcycle adventure tour that follows the spirit of Genghis Khan, through ancient equestrian traditions, boundless freedom, and the endless horizons of the Mongolian steppe. Mongolia is one of the world’s last great regions where you can still enjoy authentic motorcycle touring. Yet you won’t explore this immensity alone. You ride with the professionalism, safety, and long-standing expertise that Classic Bike Adventure has delivered for decades. Together with our trusted local partner, we have built a robust infrastructure in Ulaanbaatar, featuring our own fleet of CFMoto 450 MT adventure bikes, newly purchased and specially prepared for our Mongolia motorcycle tours. Each motorcycle is maintained to European standards by our on-site team and supported by experienced mechanics who accompany every tour. Two support vehicles, professional guides and a reliable Mongolian crew ensure full technical backup—so you can focus entirely on riding and the landscape.

The route is mostly well-maintained and paved. Two-lane roads alternate with small, sometimes single-lane mountain roads. Drivers should be accustomed to safely navigating hairpin turns and narrow, quickly changing curves. Highways are not taken.
Some sections, up to full day stages, are unpaved. In addition to good gravel roads, some stretches may have potholes and bumps. Certain areas may be covered with sand or pebbles, and there are moderate inclines on unpaved road surfaces. The off-road/paved ratio is approximately 20/80.
Including breaks, photo stops, and sightseeing, but excluding a lunch break, which lasts about one hour. On regular days, we start in between 8-9am and arrive at the tour hotel in the afternoon. Average times: Approximately 6-7 hours per day
